The Nexus S curved screen!

For those of you that noticed I didn't mention the Nexus S curved screen, you're absolutely right. I spent a whole morning with it looking over its features and hadn't noticed one of its unique selling points. Which goes to show, either it doesn't detract from the user experience, or its a complete waste of space. My belief is the latter, it makes absolutely no difference or benefit at all, and if the 'worlds first curved screen' is enough to rouse your interest levels, then you're an easily misguided fool.

Clarity and preparedness   If I have to travel anywhere new, I'll need plans. No one else's plan's, my own. In my old life, whenever we had meetings, a few members of our management team would always hook up with me. Before the end of this year Rough Cuts Ltd, permission for commercial drone operation from the CAA will expire. In 2020 we do not intend to renew this license for a number of reasons. It has been a genuine pleasure to serve some of the regions finest estate agents and we have been passionate about creating the best quality videos for the lowest costs, we've seen some truly stunning properties. But the annual cost of insurance, the time required to maintain and operate the drone, the constantly changing parameters for (and cost of) licence renewal and lack of recurring business in this field simply mean it's no longer sensible for us to continue. Moving forward we will look to maintain our relationship with existing partners to provide event photography and video services, as expected, but we will also focus much more on educational and social projects. Kogeto Dot thing

Oh the irony. about 6 months ago I emailed our buying team and told them about the GoPano 360, a device we ought to consider selling. Then when the buying team found out the RRP they decided against it, calling it a niche product, they were probably right. This week though, we've had this product in which performs exactly the same function... it captures 360 degree video. The two products seem to achieve the result in slightly different ways though. The strangely named Kogeto Dot seems to use a fish eye lens, where as the GoPano uses a conical mirror.
